Cleveland Buddhist Temple is offering a five-session summer class covering the basics of Buddhism, with an emphasis on Jodo Shinshu (Shin) Buddhism. Shin Buddhism has been called "Buddhism of the heart." It is the most widely practiced form of Buddhism
Classes will be held on Saturdays, June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 11, at Cleveland Buddhist Temple, culminating with a reception at the temple for attendees on Sunday, July 12.
The only cost for the course will be for the text, Ocean: An Introduction to Jodo-Shinshu Buddhism in America, by
Kenneth K. Tanaka.
